We collect this because it's what Stuart Ashton Build needs to get back to you with a quote or to arrange the job — nothing here is used for marketing, sold, or shared with anyone except as described below.

Where your enquiry data goes

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. When you submit the enquiry form, it is sent directly to an emailing service called Resend (a US-based company), which delivers it as an email to Stuart Ashton Build's inbox — your enquiry is not stored in a database on our server. Resend only processes the enquiry to deliver that email; it doesn't use your data for its own purposes. Because Resend is based outside the UK, this involves an international transfer of your data, covered by Resend's own standard data-protection safeguards (published at resend.com).

If your enquiry is outside the area Stuart Ashton Build covers, it's still delivered by email but not acted on.

How your connection to this site is protected

This site is hosted and served through Cloudflare, which also provides security protection (a web application firewall) and keeps the site loading quickly. Cloudflare sees the technical details of your connection (like your IP address and browser type) as your request passes through — this is a standard, necessary part of how the hosting and security work, and Cloudflare doesn't use this to build a profile of you or serve you ads. Cloudflare is a US-based company; this involves an international transfer of that technical connection data, covered by Cloudflare's own standard safeguards (published at cloudflare.com).

Analytics

This site uses Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics tool that does not use cookies and does not collect or store any personal data or IP addresses about individual visitors. It only reports aggregate numbers (like "how many people visited this page today"), and no individual visitor can be identified from it. Because of this, we don't need to show you a cookie consent banner for analytics — there's nothing being tracked that requires your consent.

Images

Photos and images on this site are served through Cloudinary (a US-based image hosting service), purely to make the site load faster. Cloudinary doesn't receive any personal data about you from this — it only serves image files.

Spam protection

This site uses Cloudflare Turnstile on the enquiry form to prevent automated spam submissions, alongside a basic hidden-field check. Turnstile processes limited technical data (like your browser type) to distinguish a real visitor from a bot — it does not use CAPTCHA puzzles and does not track you for advertising. How long we keep your data

Enquiry data is kept for as long as reasonably needed to respond to your enquiry and, if the job goes ahead, for the ordinary period needed for the work and any warranty/guarantee period. If you'd like your enquiry data deleted sooner, contact us on 0116 224 9524 and we'll action this.

Your rights
